기현 has such a friendly and warm personality that any jitters I had felt before the lesson melted away within minutes. Not only did he take the time to learn my likes and interests, but he also took the time to help me figure out ways to incorporate them into our lesson and use them to help bolster my korean learning. The first half of class focused on conversation. I really like that he used as much korean as possible. He even used korean to explain the expressions that I didn't understand, which felt so exhilarating. The second half of class focused on some screenshots that I found online which had expressions that I didn't know. He explained them and even gave useful examples. Class was a blast. He is hilarious. I left feeling even more excited to keep studying korean. I look forward to my next class with 기현!
