Hi everybody! My name is Norma, I’m from Venezuela and Colombia (I currently live in Bogota). Besides my activity as Spanish tutor, I’m a journalist and I really enjoy to read, watch movies and TV series, interchange opinions with persons from different countries. Traveling is my passion! Propongo practicar el español a través de la conversación, adaptada al nivel y los intereses de cada estudiante para que las clases sean más animadas y útiles. Para estimular la fluidez en la conversación y el manejo de nuevo vocabulario uso técnicas como desarrollar juntos planes para alcanzar objetivos, lo cual obliga al estudiante a pensar y expresarse en español sobre temas de utilidad en su vida.
I propose to practice Spanish through conversation, adapted to the level and interests of each student so that the classes are more lively and useful. To stimulate fluency in conversation and the use of new vocabulary, I use techniques such as developing plans to achieve goals.教材

Norma makes me feel comfortable and not afraid to stumble along and correct myself as I am speaking. Simply the best teacher. I’ve been working with Norma during the entire quarantine (classes almost every day), and she has improved my Spanish SO MUCH. I owe her a lot. I have and would recommend her to anyone trying to learn Spanish, anyone that wants a teacher that works with your ability. Very diligent, prepared, and quite knowledgeable!
