Hello! My name is Andy, and I’m German tutor from Kenya. I’m a friendly, patient, and open-minded person who enjoys helping others learn and grow. I’m very interested in languages and communication, and I enjoy meeting people from different cultures. Teaching allows me to connect with others while helping them build confidence and improve their skills step by step. In my free time, I enjoy swimming, acting, and dancing. I especially like listening to podcasts because it helps me relax and stay motivated. I also enjoy talking about everyday life, culture, travel, and personal development, which often become great conversation topics during lessons.

私は、生徒さんがスピーキング力を向上させ、実際の場面で自信を持って英語を使えるようになるお手伝いをすることに情熱を注いでいます。言語学習、特にスピーキングはストレスを感じることもあると理解しています。多くの生徒さんは語彙や文法はよく知っているものの、緊張したり、恥ずかしがったり、間違いを犯すことを恐れたりしています。私もかつて同じ経験をしたことがあるので、生徒さんが自由に話せて、一歩ずつ上達できる、居心地が良く、支え合いの精神に満ちたリラックスした学習環境を作ることが私の目標です。私のレッスンは主に会話練習に重点を置いていますが、常に生徒一人ひとりのニーズやレベルに合わせて内容を調整しています。

レッスン形式・教え方

My teaching style is student-centered, flexible, and practical. I believe every student learns differently, so I always adapt my lessons to your level, goals, and learning pace. I focus mainly on communication and confidence. In my lessons, you will have plenty of opportunities to speak, express your ideas, and practice real-life language. I create a relaxed and supportive environment where you don’t need to worry about making mistakes ;mistakes are an important part of learning.

120 hour International TEFL course - Teacher record - 2025I acquired my TEFL certificate after successfully completing a 120-hour TEFL training program that focused on the fundamentals of teaching English as a foreign language. The course covered essential areas such as lesson planning, classroom management, teaching grammar and vocabulary, pronunciation, and effective methods for teaching speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. It also emphasised student-centred learning and practical teaching techniques for learners of different levels.
