I'm in a rush for time, so I will only write in English. She's incredibly well prepared and clever. When I told her I want to get better at doing questions, she took my goal and then for the next lesson we had a whole conversation that felt fun and normal, only to have her reveal she was gathering information about my level !! From there she gave me some really actionable insights about what I do well and that helped me understand where I could improve a bit more. Finally, we're getting into the 沖縄弁 and I'm super excited to do my optional "homework ;)"

After taking my first lesson with Airi, I can confidently say she is an amazing tutor. She makes notes during the lesson so that she can plan the next lesson accordingly and tailor the lesson to your needs. She has a very bright personality and she is very patient. I cannot recommend her enough.

Airi was incredibly patient with my speaking. She corrected me gently and repeated the correct phrases so I could reinforce them properly. She was also genuinely supportive and encouraging about my progress — her positive, energetic teaching style made me feel enthusiastic about the lesson rather than nervous. I'd especially recommend her to any beginner who feels shy about speaking. She creates the kind of space where you're comfortable making mistakes.

My first lesson with Airi was a great experience. Although I felt nervous at first, she quickly put me at ease with her cheerful and encouraging personality. During the 30-minute trial lesson, she used simple Japanese conversation to gauge my ability level and discussed a plan for what I wanted to focus on to improve my Japanese. She also puts a lot of care into understanding her students, taking thoughtful notes and planning questions to get to know them better. I came away from the lesson feeling comfortable, motivated, and excited to continue studying with her.
