Hi, I'm Anne, a German native speaker with a Bachelors Degree in German and English and a Master's degree in English Literature and Liguistics, and a genuine passion for what language actually does to people. I'm currently in the middle of my own adventure, having just moved to a new country, which has reminded me all over again how transformative it is to be able to truly express yourself in another language. When I'm not teaching, you'll find me lost in a book, exploring local food markets, or planning my next trip somewhere I've never been. I bring all of that curiosity into my lessons, because the best conversations happen when two people are genuinely interested in the world.

学歴に加え、私は教育実習を通じて実際の授業を担当し、10代の生徒から幼い子供たちまで幅広く指導した実践的な経験を持っています。その経験から、学位だけでは十分に備えることのできないことを学びました。それは、学習者一人ひとりが異なるということ、そして教師にとって忍耐力が非常に重要な資質であるということです。私は、生徒に焦りを感じさせたり、取り残されたと感じさせたりすることなく、それぞれのエネルギーレベル、集中力、学習ペースに合わせて指導を調整する方法を心得ています。物事を理解するまでに3通りの説明が必要な方でも、ただ穏やかで励まされる環境を必要とする方でも、どちらにも対応できます。また、新しい教材や指導法を試すことも大好きです。

レッスン形式・教え方

My lessons are relaxed, conversational, and built around you. I work mainly with intermediate learners, people who already have a bit of a foundation. I feel like I can help you improve, rather than learn the language from scratch. We focus on real communication: pronunciation, natural flow, grammar in the way it actually appears in conversations rather than textbooks. However, if you are interested in tackling a phenomenon in detail, we will make rearangements according to your needs. No two lessons look exactly the same, because no two students have the same gaps, goals, or interests.
