After being a flight attendant and a certified Italian/English interpreter, I taught Italian in California and after a long stay in India, I became a certified Yoga teacher . Speaking foreign languages and my Yoga and meditation background helped me being more empathic , supportive and understanding with my students! My big passion is travelling around the world !I enjoy Yoga , meditation , hiking in nature , animals , photography , foreign languages , art, cinema etc.翻訳を表示する

I like to create a welcoming, pleasant atmosphere with my student and together work on
*pronunciation and intonation
*reinforce grammar
*build up vocabulary and typical Italian daily expressions
*encourage conversation
*correct mistakes
*If you are beginner you will learn basic grammar and enough vocabulary to make you feel confident .
*If you are intermediate or advanced, we will use articles, videos, books, podcasts, songs, etc. about topics of your interest!

I’ve been learning Italian with Silvia for over a year now, and she is hands-down the best tutor! She’s super patient, always comes prepared with great materials, and explains everything in a way that actually makes sense. She never rushes through lessons and makes sure I really get it before moving on. Learning a new language can be tricky, but with Silvia, it feels fun and doable. I can’t recommend her enough!

I always knew that I met Sylvia for a reason! I remember going through many introductory italian teacher videos until something resonated when i saw Sylvia’s profile. I’m so happy I followed my gut in trying a lesson with her so many years ago, because she has been such a blessing! She is so full of light and stories, and has the best way of explaining things! Grazie grazie grazie. I don’t believe in coincidences and so I know that she was always meant to be my teacher, especially with the amount of similar interests that we have! See you next week!
