Sylvia

I’ve been learning Italian with Silvia for over a year now, and she is hands-down the best tutor! She’s super patient, always comes prepared with great materials, and explains everything in a way that actually makes sense. She never rushes through lessons and makes sure I really get it before moving on. Learning a new language can be tricky, but with Silvia, it feels fun and doable. I can’t recommend her enough!

I first tried reaching out to Sylvia on iTalki a few months ago, but due to the platform’s link filter blocking my initial message, it didn’t go through. After solving that little confusion, I finally connected with her ^^ and now I totally get why she’s so popular (highest students retention rate among Italian teachers). Thanks to her dynamic classes her contagious positivity, I was able to focus for a full hour something I usually struggle with. Even I am a total beginner, she create a safe space and support for me to be completely free of judgment while trying to make sentences in italian with the little that I know. She made the class enjoyable and together she will help me build that solid grammar and vocabulary base to build confidence. If you’re more advanced, you’ll vibe with her materials that she mentioned about articles, videos, podcasts and will tailor the class to your interests. Grazie mille. I always knew that I met Sylvia for a reason! I remember going through many introductory italian teacher videos until something resonated when i saw Sylvia’s profile. I’m so happy I followed my gut in trying a lesson with her so many years ago, because she has been such a blessing! She is so full of light and stories, and has the best way of explaining things!
