IELTS Matt

My goal was to reach 7.5 in Writing and I was somewhere at 6.0 when I just started studying with Matt. To my surprise, it only took me 2 months of classes with him to achieve my desired result. I tried all of the following lesson types and I can highly recommend all of them: 1) IELTS Writing Task 2 Essentials: this was the 1st class that I booked with Matt, and it was incredibly helpful to me in terms of understanding the Task 2 types, structures to be used when writing each Task 2 essay and tricky moments that require your additional attention. 2) Offline Editing and Grading Service: Matt provided me with extremely precise and helpful feedback, pointing out my weaknesses and advising on how I could have written each essay better. He also corrected all mistakes in the essays (and there were lots of them!) 3) Online Writing Course: I learnt how to produce more complex ideas after these classes. I would definitely recommend Matt to everyone who'd like to improve their Writing score.

I started my journey of preparation to an IELTS exam a year ago while my level was approximately 5. A week ago I received incredible results with 7.0 for Writing and 7.5 for Speaking. I reckon that these outstanding scores speak for themselves. Frankly speaking, back in the day, I remember I knew nothing about the exam and how to deal with this challenge. I barely could speak fluently and made a lot of mistakes. On top of that, my writing was awful and I didn't comply with the correct structure of a letter. Matt has helped me to fix blind spots in my knowledge of the language and has made my English more advanced and fluent. Even though I have a busy full time job with a minimum amount of time for study, Matt’s efficient methods allowed me to facilitate my education process. It is my firm conviction that Matt is a perfect teacher for everyone who wants score a better grade and to achieve success with their personal goals.

Matt is a great teacher, I really enjoy our lessons. I passed IELTS with overall 7.5 and got 7 for both writing and speaking parts after some lessons with Matt. Before my study with this teacher my score for writing was 5.5-6, and I could improve it just in 10 lessons or so. Moreover, Matt is an interesting person, so you can easily discuss the latest news with him no matter what the topic is. Also he uses a lot of useful materials for both writing and speaking parts. All in all, if you are looking for a tutor to be ready for the IELTS test, you should try a lesson with Matt, and I’m sure you’ll stop your searching after that and will start learning with this tutor :)

Matt is helpful and patient ! I took the writing lessons and he taught me how to plan clear writing structures and fixed my word-use mistakes. I really enjoy the class with him!
