I’m Veronica, and I’m your typical nerd who loves books and languages. I have a Master’s degree in English literature and I work as an in-person and online academic writing tutor for English-speaking students and English language learners. I also have Bachelor’s degrees in psychology and sociology. I enjoy sharing my love of all kinds of literature, from science-fiction to micro-histories, with people through online discussions and videos. I have worked with a variety of students with different levels of English for over more than ten years of tutoring. Many of the students I work with as an academic writing tutor need help creating, structuring, and supporting arguments for class essays; however, many students also need help with various aspects of grammar, such as sentence structure, subject-verb agreement, and prepositions. I have also worked with many students who are learning English for more casual purposes, whether to be able to communicate better in their daily lives or to be able to help their children with their homework. Communication is always the number one priority in my teaching style, so you never have to worry about being overwhelmed by long grammar explanations (unless you are also a nerd and you like that sort of thing!). I aim to tailor my lessons individually, working with you at your current level with the objective of meeting your desires, whether that is to get a better grade in a class, pass an exam, or to feel more confident when traveling to an English-speaking country. Every student is different and I believe that keeping you engaged, using material that you find interesting, is far more effective than standard lesson plans.証明書

I have been a Spanish teacher on Italki for 4 years, so I think my opinion should count regarding Veronica's teaching style: This has been my first lesson with with her and it went amazingly well.
Even though she has just started teaching on Italki, she's an experienced and very well prepared professional. She manages both grammar and cultural aspects of English, so we enjoyed a conversation as well as the corrections she was suggesting during the class.
Hence, I would highly recommend Veronica for all types of students who want to improve their language skills, and also for the ones who just want to practice their conversational skills. I'm sure you will enjoy every second of the lesson and you won't regret the decision of scheduling a class with her; so, please, give it a try.
