At that time, I taught conversation-focused classes from beginner to business level. I also have experience volunteering to teach Japanese language and culture to local American students during my study abroad in the U.S. I have been teaching Japanese on Italki since 2021. 学校で日本語教師の資格を取得した後、ベトナムで日本語教師として少し働きました。その時は初級からビジネスレベルの会話中心の授業をしていました。また、アメリカ留学中にボランティアで現地のアメリカ人の生徒さんに日本語や日本文化を教えていた経験があります。Italkiでは2021年から日本語を教えています。 Lessons tailored to students' levels, from beginner to advanced. The materials used are excellent--the vocabulary is not overwhelming but still interesting, the grammar is right on the border between what I'm familiar with and what I'm unfamiliar with, and the thematic arrangement makes recall easier through context without pigeon-holing the content. Tomomi's explanations are really helpful and she's really patient and encouraging with my many attempts and mistakes, so I feel good about doing the practice to get it right and understand.

I am glad for the extra grammar practice! Systematically learning thematic vocabulary and grammar together is a great way to inventory what I'm able to recall and use, identifying what needs work.
