教えるようになったのは、私自身がかつて言語学習者だったからです。私と同じように多くの言語学習者が、新しい語彙や文法規則を学んだり、読書をしたりして言語を習得しようとしていましたが、結局はコミュニケーションをとることができないということに気づきました。問題は、ほとんどの授業がコミュニケーションを重視したものではなく、学習者が話す場面に遭遇すると、それまでの努力が無意味に思えて固まってしまい、自信を失ってしまうことだと気づきました。なぜなら、言語を学ぶ主な目的の1つ（そして楽しい部分！）は、他の人とコミュニケーションを取れるようになることと、その国の文化を学ぶことだと思うからです。 レッスン形式・教え方
私のレッスンは、お客様のニーズに合わせて行われます。主に会話を中心としたレッスンで、レッスンで取り上げた内容を補強するための宿題も出します。
最初のレッスンでは、あなたの英語とスペイン語のレベルを非公式に評価し、あなたのニーズと目標を把握し、どのようにレッスンを続けていくかを提案します。私は、コースやテキストには「万能」というものはなく、学習者はそれぞれ異なる期待、目標、強み、弱みを持っていると考えていますので、お客様のニーズや好みを考慮します。
*インフォーマルなクラスは、教材なしでフリートークができる中級者や上級者向けであることを覚えておいてください。教材
