Hello! My name is Sylvia and I'm a native English speaker from the United States. I am currently studying linguistics at university, which means I understand how languages work. I also have over five years of teaching experience and can help you improve your English through explanations of grammar or casual conversation, whichever you prefer! Your native language determines how understand different grammar concepts, so I will tailor my explanations of English grammar depending on your native language. I have two years of experience teaching English to native Arabic speakers, and I've found that this is the most effective approach. I tend to have a speaking-heavy approach, because I believe this is the more basic and important aspect of a language, however, I also use writing and reading as tools to improve speaking. But I am always looking to design the lesson for your specific needs.
Consistent practice is key, so I may ask you to practice a few minutes every day instead of giving one long homework assignment.4.8
