I started teaching at the age of 17 , helping others who would like to know more about the bible. When I moved abroad at the age of 22 I volunteered at a local school teaching to lower intermediate children. Later, when I moved back to the states I decided to continue English teaching , through Italki. Here I was able to have a platform where I can use my ESL knowledge and help many people feel confident in the English language!レッスンおよびティーチングスタイル
Many of my students are amazing parents,lawyer, managers, government officials and I work on my lessons to be lively ! I like to focus on everyday usage of the English language as they may use it in school, at work and with family ! I know Grammar, Phonics and Vocabulary are the building blocks to English . I first focus on being skilled at basics through Warm-ups, activities and Dialogue and once students graduate we can focus on learning the English language with literature and poetry! I want my lessons to be fun but educational!
ATTENTION: If you are going to be late , you need to write me a message , I wait only 15 minutes from the time your lesson started before I consider it a NO SHOW.教材

I booked my first class with Jackie to prepare myself for a job interview. She totally understood my situation, gave me many tips and a great drill.
A few days later, on my interview, one of the first question made by the interviewer was exactly the same from our class, and I was prepared! I really felt confident enough to run the whole interview and share with them my background.

The teacher who usually arrived late and left early and losed an average of five minutes per class; Once we forgot to have class, the teacher did not have a word of concern and a left message, and refused to apply for a refund. I signed up for 20 classes, which was enough time for one class per 5 minutes without us. The first package was OK, the second was obviously sloppy. She has not a really American accent and we will never come back again.
