Polina

Another great lesson with Polina! she makes learning Russian enjoyable and entertaining by discussing language, as well as culture and other things. Could not recommend her highly enough!

Excellent lesson as all we had yet. Polina both prepares good materials and is flexible and open. She assesses my level well, so that I'm challenged but not frustrated. I always learn new things, get more secure at issues where I'm hesitating, and am never bored.

It has been a few weeks since I was able to take a Russian lesson but one thing I love about miss Polina is that she is so good about jumping right in and reviewing well so that I don’t feel lost. She is so patient with words I should know but forget too! I really look forward to lessons with her!

I've been working on my writing recently, and Polina has very graciously been taking the extra time to correct my essays so we can discuss them in the lessons. Just another example of how she goes above and beyond.

professional and friendly, Polina encourages speech from the start and gently guides through examples, correcting mistakes and giving explanations as she goes. I always feel free to speak (badly) without embarrassment which I think is important. Polina creates a supportive and encouraging environment in which to learn, make mistakes and converse without fear.
