Sophie is an amazing teacher! If you want to learn or improve your German - look no further! Lessons with Sophie offer the best of both worlds: ability to practice German with the native speaker plus meticulously organized classes. She is always well prepared for each lesson and has amazing supplemental materials. But despite having structured materials, Sophie is very flexible and willing to tailor each class to a specific student needs. Sophie's ability to explain complex concepts in English and/or Spanish is also very helpful. Most importantly, Sophie makes you feel so comfortable and heard during the classes that learning a new language becomes enjoyable rather than a boring and demanding task. Thank you, Sophie, for all your hard work in helping your students succeed.

Great teacher, always well-prepared and encouraging

Very good experience. This was my 1st first trial lesson with Sophie. She is very friendly. I am not normally at ease speaking, especially in German, but she was very patient and I felt comfortable enough to speak. Looking forward to attending more sessions.

I have a few lessons with Sophie now and can confidently say that she is a great teacher. She is always prepared and organized in her lessons, which is super helpful. She is also very patient with me and encouraging. I appreciate that she speaks to me in German as much as possible, adjusting her speech so I can understand. Would definitely recommend !
