Qianwen's approach of teaching through conversing helps with becoming comfortable with the language and learning interesting/new vocabulary. It definitely challenges me to speak and think more naturally in my target language in real time and makes grammar more applicable to real life conversational situations.

Qianwen's conversational approach to teaching has allowed me to greatly improve my Portuguese and Mandarin listening and speaking skills. I am also able to practice writing and composition through the homework she gives, on which she gives feedback to phrase things more naturally.

This was my first lesson in Mandarin after not speaking for a long time and Qianwen was so good at making me feel comfortable even when making a lot of mistakes. She is so friendly, and I appreciated that she let me try to get my full thoughts out before correcting them. We got to speak a little Portuguese at the end too, I would recommend her to anyone learning either of these languages.
