I have been having English lessons with Carl for more than a year on a regular weekly basis. I am extremely satisfied with his methods. Most of the time, half of the lesson consists of an interesting talk about various topics, including British culture, different accents, comedy, films, and travel. He always corrects or suggests a better alternative in order to sound better. Another half of the lesson is doing real tests together - his input is very helpful. He always explains right away if something is needed. Most importantly, we also had a few lessons related to phonetics and accents. It was very interesting to know how native speakers speak and what sounds are produced in their regular speech. I can recommend Carl to every English learner. He is a professional teacher with tremendous experience in helping to improve English on every level.
