I like that she follows a book format and is helpful calling out pronunciation mistakes as needed. She also gives context and some cultural examples along the way. I'm very happy!

I had over 30 lessons with Dona Morais in the past months. I highly recommend her as a teacher. Very patient, knowledgeable, always on time. We do not just go through a book, but we talk a lot about structures and grammars, She sends me additional materials/exercises when I ask, and listens to my requests very attentively.

I really enjoy the classes with Maria! I have the chance to speak a lot and read aloud which helps my pronunciation and makes me more comfortable to speak up using the language. We are making quick progress with the learning material and I'm motivated to spend more time outside the classes practicing. She can also explain grammar features in simple ways which makes me understand them better. Maria is very supportive, patient and motivating.
