She always goes above and beyond! She researches pop culture, slang, and even origins of traditional names so there’s diverse topics to discuss.

I really like Evie, she is such an enthiousastic teacher that caters the lessons to my interests and level. She is diligent in making sure my pronounciation is correct. I am always happy to start my lessons with her, and feel eager to continue my studies afterwards. I higly recommend Evie as a teacher.

I love my lessons with Evie! Since I started taking lessons with her more often, I've noticed myself improving and understanding way more than I used to. My Mandarin conversation skills are not good yet, but she has a lot of patience, always repeating sentences slowly so that I can understand and giving me feedback on my grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.
