Valerie is wonderful! Class always feels meaningful and a great mix of planned and flexible/organic content. She is extremely encouraging, knowledgeable, and just plain easy to talk to. I'm always impressed how she assesses my performance in the target language and gives me meaningful items to work on between classes. She makes it look effortless, but I can assure you that it takes a lot of expertise and empathy to develop and manage a class the way that Valerie does.

I enjoyed my first trial lesson. Valerie speaks clearly and feel like we got a lot in common so it is easier to find topics to speak about. Also,we will be able to practice, speak and learn new vocabulary about work, traveling, hobbies...

I end every lesson with Valerie feeling excited to keep learning! We spend the whole time in conversation practice in my target language. She gives great feedback to help correct my grammatical mistakes in the moment, and I always leave with new vocabulary words to practice.
