Chan

It was another fun and fruitful lesson. As my homework, I usually read an article and make my original sentences with some new words. Chan is always kind and helps me express what I want to say in Lao. I recommend her as your teacher with all my heart😌✨

How many rave reviews can I submit? It keeps getting better and better. The conversation flows now, and while I constantly fetch up on verbal sandbars, Chan is great about helping me get afloat again. Tonight I told her that I wanted to go beyond my initial goal of learning rudimentary Lao, and commit to a year’s worth of twice-weekly lessons with the goal of being able to read at the end. So, we’re off! I am excited; she tells me that one-year goal is readily achievable, and she’s so good that I believe her!

This was my first lesson with Chan and immediately she was very welcoming, I felt instantly comfortable. She wasted no time getting into a discussion with me to understand how much Lao I already understood. Within just 15 minutes I learned how to structure my sentences better & what words I can substitute for a different word. She is a wonderful teacher and I will 100% be using her again!
