大人になってから、学校で外国語を勉強するのが怖くなった。アメリカで育った私たちは、高校でスペイン語の授業を受けることを義務付けられていた。文構造の違いに戸惑い、クラスのみんなについていけるだけの速さでたくさんの新しい単語を覚えるのは不可能に思えた。私は外国語が好きではなかったし、他の言語を学ぶことはできないと自分に言い聞かせていた。それがイタリアに来て、イタリア語を学びたいと強く思うようになった。アプリやクラス、教師が作ったオンラインコンテンツなど、ありとあらゆる方法を試して、学ぼうとし始めた。新しい言語を学ぶことは不可能ではないと学びました！教師として、私は生徒たちにこの自信を与えたいと思っています。
