I was a little worried before this lesson because I haven't had much time to practice or study lately. But no problem with Rie sensei! It was easy to jump right back into Nihongo world and carry on a conversation, learn new things, etc. Thanks.

Excellent teachers develop a sense of when the student might not have completely understood something in conversation, doing a quick comprehension check, and providing a clear explanation if necessary. Rie sensei does exactly this, and it really helps. Arigato!!

Another fun lesson! Particularly interesting for me was the discussion about different kanji and how they're used. Interesting as a topic and of course also useful for my Japanese study. Arigato!!
