I want to say a huge thank you to Amelia! After just a few lessons with her, I can already hear a clear improvement in my speaking skills. I am very proud of the progress I've made so far, and I really hope she is proud of me too. Amelia creates a great atmosphere for learning, and the results are visible (and audible) much faster than I expected. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to boost their confidence in speaking!

I just finished another great lesson with Amelia! Every class is a perfect mix of useful vocabulary and positive energy. In our session on June 3, 2026, I was explaining some complex technical details from my field, like the PFO (power failure option) or why shorter pins prevent sparks. Amelia was amazing at helping me translate these ideas and correct my pronunciation of "sug-JES-chun". We also learned the idiom "take it with a grain of salt", using a funny example about AI. This Friday is the most important day for me—my trial day at a new company. Thanks to Amelia, I am going there with a lot of self-confidence. If everything ends with a success, it will be largely thanks to her. Please keep your fingers crossed tight for me, Amelia! This day can completely change how my whole life looks in the near future. You are a fantastic teacher!

Amelia ist ein hervorragende Lehrerin. Sie ist witzig, interessiert und sehr gut in ihren Erklärungen und ihrer Form des Unterrichts. Sie passt sich sehr meinen Bedürfnissen an und ist sehr geduldig mit mir. Oft reden wir über den Alltag und Besonderheiten der vergangenen Woche. Somit erreichen wir einen deutlich weiteren Wortschatz, als über einen starren Unterricht. Zum jeweils aktuellem Thema hat sie auch immer diverse Arbeitsblätter, die wir im Unterricht besprechen oder ich als Hausaufgabe schon einmal vorbereiten darf. Amelia ist klasse. Eine absolute Empfehlung!

Great lesson as always with Amelia! We covered grammar (turns out "good" and "well" are NOT the same thing), learned that "pay off" and "pay back" are very different, and discovered the idiom: "don't count your chickens before they hatch." I also gifted Amelia a new word: "heaven scratcher." I was trying to say "skyscraper" — but I translated it live from German (Wolkenkratzer) and somewhere between Himmel and scratcher, we ended up somewhere above the clouds. Architecturally questionable. Linguistically unforgettable. I genuinely hope it enters her permanent vocabulary. Making her laugh is honestly one of my favorite parts of these lessons. Highly recommended — patient, sharp, and somehow still smiling after all my German-English translation experiments. Five stars!

I really enjoy my lessons with Amelia. She is a very flexible teacher – we can practice job interviews and also learn daily English idioms. During today's class, we discussed the phrase "couch potato" among the others. It made me realize something important. If I ever tell my wife that she is a couch potato, she will stop making dinner for me, and I will go hungry. Because of this, I think I desperately need to learn kitchen and cooking vocabulary in our next lessons. If I want to be honest with my wife, I must learn how to cook first, or I will literally starve to death! Thanks for a good lesson and see you next time!
