Just two lessons in, and already have such a great feeling! She's super patient and understanding, explains things clearly, can explain things in other languages (should you know them), and lessons are so fun that they fly by! 10/10 would recommend

Amanda was great. She subtly assessed my level as we were talking so she could meet me where I am. She explained how we would be approaching Portuguese and where I might be able to get to in the next few months. I am very excited to continue learning with her :)

Just finished the hundredth class with Amanda! She always comes up with new topics, and encourages you to speak a lot. From Brazilian artists, to history, over ecological and political topics, I learned so much about Brazil in these classes. Amanda always manages to keep it interesting and fun, which makes learning easy.

This review is well overdue, as I've just finished my 10th lesson. Amanda has been really helpful in improving my Portuguese progress. She's really patient and supportive, and the lessons have a really good grounding in grammar & pronunciation. The level of depth with different explanations is super helpful as a complete beginner!

Amanda is a great teacher! Her lessons are always well-structured and organized, but also engaging and fun. She covers grammar and vocabulary while also sharing unique things about Brazilian culture. I’ve learned so much already and can’t wait to keep learning with her!
