Alan is clearly a wonderful teacher. For my first lesson, he was patient and friendly while getting to know me as a Spanish-learner. Looking forward to our next lesson.

Alan is great! He’s able to speak as slowly as I need him to and he’s happy to repeat and type things out when I need a little extra help. He’s also great at subtly correcting me and teaching me how to properly speak. Thanks Alan!

Another wonderful lesson with Alan!

My session with Alan was my first session on italki and it was a great experience. Alan was supportive and allowed me a second to think when I was stuck before gently correcting or offering the word I was looking for. I am still quite nervous speaking Spanish, especially since it's been a long time, so I was worried there would be a lot of awkward silence. Alan continued the conversation by asking questions that I could understand but that made me think. Definitely recommend Alan for conversational practice!
