I’ve really enjoyed taking lessons with Terry. From the very beginning, I’ve felt completely comfortable and supported, and I truly feel that I’m learning in a positive and encouraging environment. She listens carefully to my goals and wishes. Every lesson feels well-balanced and inspiring to me.
What I especially appreciate is that it never feels uncomfortable to make mistakes; instead, they become a natural and helpful part of the learning process. I always leave each lesson feeling motivated and more confident.
Thank you so much for your wonderful teaching and your kind, thoughtful approach!

Today, Terry helped me for a job interview asking a lot of pertinent questions and giving me tips and feedback. I feel more prepared now.

I have been learning English with Terry for two years now. In the beginning, she helped me find the right words and gave me the confidence to speak. With her patience and skills, she always motivated me.
Our lessons are full of positive energy. We read different articles, because I want to improve my pronunciation. The articles also give us topics to talk about and invite us to share ideas. That way, I have learned a lot.
The lessons are never boring – they are always interesting and fun. Over time, we built a kind of friendship across the continent.

This was my first lesson on italki. Terry is a very patient and kind teacher. She always listens carefully to what I say and encourages me. I really like her teaching style — and her lovely smile! ;)

Today, I read a hard book to Terry. A book with a lot of slang and humour by Charles Stross. It's a big change from the Penderwicks by Jeanne Birdsall. I still struggle reading fluently, but Terry is focused enough to understand me. She can also explain some of the words I don't know and, when she doesn't know it, can search the word in my stead.
Our lessons are always a pleasure =)
