I feel so much better about my Spanish because of my lessons with Sofia! We do a mix of conversational and grammatical lessons. I’m about to go on a trip to a Spanish speaking country and I feel like I’m as ready as I can possibly be for this experience. Thank you for your help!

I’ve tried many teachers on italki and other platforms, and Sofia is one of the best. Most other teachers either have no lesson plan or they strictly follow a boring workbook, whereas Sofia’s classes are very dynamic and you can tell she cares a lot about your progress. She’s always on time, with good internet, and will try to accommodate to your schedule. Since she is also a big traveler herself, she can relate to a lot of travel experiences around the world and knows what it’s like to navigate through different languages and cultures. I highly recommend Sofia as a teacher and thanks to her, my standards for recognizing high quality teachers has increased.

Sofia is a wonderful Spanish teacher! I have been taking classes with her for a little over a year, and I have improved so much in my confidence and Spanish speaking skills. She thoughtfully selects articles, short stories, and videos for me to read or watch before class and she individualizes things to my language level and interests. I'm always amazed by how quickly she responds to messages and incorporates my ideas or questions for future class topics. I would recommend Sofia's classes to anyone - it's such a fun and interesting way to improve my Spanish!

La clase de ayer con Sofia fue muy interesante. Me sorprendió mucho su conocimiento sobre Australia y Vietnam, considerando que están muy lejos de Sudamérica. También pude notar que está muy comprometida con su pasión por enseñar tanto español como la cultura argentina a sus estudiantes, lo que explica por qué ha impartido casi 5.000 clases. Overall, toda la clase fue muy dinámica y divertida.
