Joel is a fantastic teacher! I’ve done about 8 sessions with him (2x a week), and I'm already seeing huge changes in my French speaking and confidence. His classes are stress-free and very reassuring. His teaching method is spot-on: we focus heavily on reading aloud, verb conjugations, and recognizing subtle pronunciation differences. He speaks mostly in French during class, which has really boosted my listening skills and made it much easier to follow French content on YouTube outside of class. He encourages me to practice outside of class and bring new words to our lessons, where he gently helps me correct my pronunciation in real-time. His voice-note homework assignments are super effective because they keep you speaking and re-reading, rather than just doing passive reading/writing.
