I feel so fortunate to have found Carolina. She is the best! Works with me at my level towards my goals. She uses really good materials that are very helpful. I am always happy to have had a lesson with Carolina. Siempre cinco Estrellas!

Outstanding. I chose Carolina because of how clearly she spoke in her video, making it easy for me to understand her. I also was impressed that she is a journalist. I could tell that she was a nice person. She was very helpful and knowledgeable in our first lesson. I'm going begin regular lessons with her immediately.

Wow! I worked super hard today--and I'm an advanced student with 5-1/2 years experience learning from Carolina, a fantastic and very diligent teacher! I learned a lot of new vocabulary in this lesson, and we considered why it is impossible to know all the words that exist in Spanish: the sheer magnitude of the language, with 93,000 words. Great lesson, Carolina; you always manage to come up with resources that challenge me and push me to the next level!

I often say similar things about my lessons with Carolina, because they're consistently true. She works me hard. I feel like my brain is getting a workout. We pick difficult material and it's slow going, but I'm learning steadily. I'm learning about the legal system in Colombia and the standards of evidence, and I'm not involved in police or legal work--these are simply topics that have caught my interest in looking at other aspects of Colombian social life. Wherever you are in your studies of Spanish, Carolina can take you higher, at whatever pace you're ready for.

Carolina has consistently been amazing for 5-1/2 years. Although I am an advanced student, I sense that there will always be more to learn. She is my role model in this regard, as she says she herself is constantly learning more about Spanish, which is her native language. We're in this together! I enjoy our lessons most when I have to work and think hard, and when we concentrate on something together. She gave me some quizzes on a short movie I watched recently. I view errors there as opportunities to learn more, and if I make a few, she always has a ready explanation, and sometimes even documentation, for why the correct answer, re-conjugation etc. is the correct one. She is the best teacher imaginable for my level of curiosity about how Spanish works.

More than once I have written that Carolina could take any student to any level they want. In 5 years +, she has led me from A2 to C2, almost native--but always a student. Parsing words has been a constant. In my first lesson those years ago, we started parsing Colombian slang, a new concept for me. Today we watched a short movie from Spain and began parsing entire colloquial expressions from that country. No matter how long a student has been learning, there is always more to learn in this area, and in many others. She always has great resources at her fingertips, at any level, at every level. It is my good fortune to continue learning with her.
