Hazuki is a wonderfully patient and thoughtful teacher who confidently adapts her teaching methods and styles to the needs of her students. She arrives at each lesson ready to make the most of every minute with clearly prepared teaching materials and lesson plans. On top of being an excellent teacher, she is also a great conversation partner and a uniquely interesting individual, and I can wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking to improve their Japanese or even just have fun conversation.

Another fun lesson with Hazuki! We reviewed my homework, learned numbers, and practiced ordering at cafes and konbini, plus some hiragana and katakana. She shares excellent materials and resources that make studying between lessons much easier. I'm really happy with my progress and can't wait for the next one!

Just had my first Japanese lesson with Hazuki-sensei and I really enjoyed it. I'm preparing for a solo trip where it's important to me to be able to interact with others in Japanese. By the end of the first lesson I was able to introduce myself, ask for a table and menu and make an order. Hazuki took time to understand a bit about me, my goals and interests, and with that she shared some valuable information on how things work in a Japanese restaurant, which is a bit different from restaurants where I'm from. Useful stuff that will definitely help on my trip. Looking forward to continuing learning with her!

The lessons with Hazuki sensei really help me making a progress! We use the Genki book for homework which is very convenient. She helps me a lot with pronunciation as well. I feel challenged every time but also enjoy the lesson and the time goes by super fast. Thank you Hazuki sensei for another great lesson!

This was my second lesson with Hazuki, and it was a lot of fun! We reviewed the previous lesson on introductions and ordering at a restaurant before moving on to numbers and shopping. I'm feeling great about how quickly I'm picking up practical phrases for my upcoming trip to Japan. Hazuki also took the time to learn about my travel plans and gave me excellent recommendations, plus vocabulary tailored to the places I'll be visiting and the things I'll be doing. Highly recommend!

It was nice to converse with Hazuki San. She was patient and helped me when struggling to remember vocabulary or phrases. She kept the conversation moving. I think she would be a great fit for someone trying to speak Japanese.
