I have a neutral and clear accent. You will have no problem following my words and I can be of great help in cracking pronunciation! We will also check right from the start that the speed of conversation suits your preferences.
I am happy to work with students on all levels and I will customize my lessons according to your needs. You are of course welcome to provide your material as well.
I am hoping you will perceive me as a friendly and supportive teacher from our very first session and that you will feel a natural flow of communication between equally motivated participants. I will do my best to recognize and support your efforts and to build new knowledge from there.レッスン形式・教え方
During a trial lesson we will discuss your needs and motivations when it comes to improving the language and we'll come up with a plan that works for you. I will show you (and share with you❣ ) course materials and you will know the overall direction of the course.
During our lessons I am more than happy to correct any of your errors regarding grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure and pronunciation.
Also, I will be as understanding as possible regarding any issues about not showing up to the first class -we are all humans and unexpected situations can happen to anyone!教材

I have had conversation lessons with Marija for nearly two years now. As I live abroad and not in my home country a person who has also lived abroad - like Marija - will understand automatically what it means if you come to a new country. The challenges of the language, the customs and traditions, basically the culture. Apart from living abroad she has travelled widely which is an additional asset because it enriches our conversations when looking at Croatia because we are able to employ that outside look. Moreover, Marija is a resident in one area of Croatia, but originally stems from another area. This is very useful because it provides surprising insights. For me as someone who has roots in Croatia, but never has lived there this is a definite bonus because you can get to know different parts of the country in one person. If you are looking for an open-minded person with whom you can talk about almost anything then Marija is the perfect choice.

I've been working with Marija for a little over a year and a half now and I really can't say enough good things about her. She is a clear and thoughtful instructor, and each lesson is carefully planned out and organized. I really look forward to each lesson, and they always seem to go by very quickly because I am enjoying each lesson. Thanks to her teaching, I've been able to have some basic conversations with my Croatian in-laws - something I couldn't do at all when I first started working with her! I look forward to continuing to grow my Croatian thanks to her, and I would highly recommend her as an instructor for anyone looking to learn the challenging and beautiful Croatian language.
