Hi there! My name is Emma! I'm from Cork in the south of Ireland but I now live in Japan! I love learning languages and I studied Applied Languages with French, German and Japanese, so I know what it's like to learn a language. I believe being able to speak to someone in their native language is a very powerful skill (not to mention the key to their heart!) and this is what inspired me to want to help people learn English. I like to think my students feel completely comfortable to be themselves and make mistakes in my class! Mistakes are important for improvement, so the more the better! Think of me as your language exchange partner. You are having fun learning REAL English with a native speaker without the stress of exams or repetitive grammar exercises. I am open to your feedback and your input into the lessons as I truly want to create an experience that works for you! So, if you know what you want, don't be afraid to tell me.レッスンおよびティーチングスタイル
I do recommend that you take a trial lesson, however, I will always make contact with you via message before our first meeting to allow me to prepare a little for our first class. We will then have a chat so I can see what your general level is and find possible topics of interest so we can adjust the class to fit you. The class is all about conversation and getting you used to speaking. So even if you don't think you can say that much, don't worry because you will improve each time! After each class students are provided with notes of key vocabulary and resources used during class.
