English TeacherFor a few months, I worked part-time as an English tutor at American Life in Samsun, Türkiye. Though I’d helped friends before, this was my first formal tutoring job. I taught several 1-hour group conversation classes each week, which helped me gain confidence in speaking to groups and teaching new concepts. I enjoy helping others, and teaching English gives me that rewarding feeling of making a difference.

English TutorI started teaching on Italki as soon as I completed my 120-hour TEFL certificate. I saw it as a way to enter the online market and I soon realized that I enjoyed the one-on-one lessons.
