Lilja 百合

Lilja is an outstanding teacher, knowledgable, skilled, deeply embedded in both languages we are using, able to reach into metaphors and different meanings with ease. She has a warm, encouraging, easy manner which helps build confidence as well as skill. I am thoroughly enjoying my classes and would give Lilja my highest recommendation.

I have been taking Norwegian lessons with Lilja for a month now and can wholeheartedly recommend her! Lilja is very nice and corrects any mistakes I make instantly in a friendly manner. She is great at explaining grammar rules in an easy way and making sure that I get a lot of speaking practice. I have taken many Norwegian classes over the last few years, both in group settings at language schools but also private lessons, and am very glad that I found Lilja. I feel like I am making more progress than before since her lessons are actually adapted to my level of Norwegian. Every class is interesting and super fun, I always look forward to them!

I had a trial lesson and really enjoyed it. Lilja is very friendly and easy to talk to. She took the time to understand my learning goals and assess my level of Norwegian. She gave helpful corrections throughout the lesson, along with very useful tips and resources for learning. Lilja is coaching me through my reading of English novels. Our lessons involve stimulating discussions and thoughtful analysis, and the experience has been very enriching. I can definitely recommend her.
