I’m incredibly grateful to Jayashree for guiding me through the translation of the Kannada song Kaagada doNiyalli. Her support in breaking down the sandhigalus (word joins) and helping me understand the root words was invaluable. Thanks to her, I was able to grasp not just the literal meaning, but also the nuances of tenses, cultural references, and the deeper emotional layers of the song. Jayashree is such an amazing teacher, helpful, supporting and encouraging ! Love my conversations with her, we always have a good laugh also, she makes me feel I can do it and learn so much vocabulary every time plus she writes the words on the board the exact same way I initially learn to write the words in roman script with my very first teacher so it is helpful! Another great class trying to have a conversation in KannaDa, Jayashree is very patient, I am so lucky to have her as a teacher! We had a good amount of laughs together, learning with good mood, and she is very helpful teaching me some words I need and also the related words so I have a wider knowledge, understand better where words originate in the language, the link between them, which is what I want to learn also about the language because I love the language so much (even though life is busy and does not let me book regular classes :-( ). Who would think that meeting some wonderful Kannadigas at work could have this effect on me? :) Thank you teacher!
