Sailaja

Sailaja is helping me transcribe my interviews in Telugu. I am finding the process invaluable for learning about the Telugu language and culture, and Sailaja takes the opportunity to explain linguistically relevant points which come up in the recordings.

In this lesson, by providing several examples, Sailaja helped me understand the circumstances in which it is either required or optional in Telugu to indicate, using a postposition suffix (ni/nu), that a particular noun is the object of the verb. She is frequently able to enhance my understanding of the grammar in this way, which I find extremely helpful.
