ゆっくりでもだいじょうぶ！たのしくれんしゅうしましょう。 こんにちは、Yokoです。東京の日本語学校で働（はたら）いていました。今は、外国から来た小学生と中学生に日本語を教えています。先生になる前は15年間、ITの会社ではたらいていました。私の趣味は、旅行、ミュージカルを見ること、いろいろな国の料理を食べることです。休みの日は、英語や中国語を勉強したり、子供とたくさん遊びます。 Hello, I'm Yoko. I used to work at a Japanese language school in Tokyo. Now, I teach Japanese to elementary and junior high school students who have come from overseas. Before becoming a teacher, I worked for 15 years at an IT company. My hobbies include traveling, watching Korean dramas, and trying food from different countries. On my days off, I study English and Chinese, and spend a lot of time playing with my child. 私は東京の日本語学校で日本語を教えていました。今は、子どもに教えたり、オンラインで大人に教えたりしています。私の生徒は、初心者（biginner）がおおいです。日本語を使って日本語を教えています。みなさんが、わかるように、絵や写真をたくさん使います。 I used to teach Japanese at a language school in Tokyo. Now, I teach children in person and also teach adults online. Most of my students are beginners. I teach Japanese using Japanese. To help you understand, I use a lot of pictures and illustrations. Don’t worry, I understand a little English, so you can ask in English if you like. 私のクラスは、この2つです。 1 初級文法 2 会話練習教科書は必要ありません、教科書はいりません。教科書はいりません。私が使える教科書はげんきげんきみんなの日本語初級まるごとまるごといろどり文法を学ぶより、会話の練習をする方が大切だと思いますか？その考え方は理にかなっていると思います。しかし、文法の基礎がわかっていないと、正しい日本語を話すことは難しい。ですから、初心者の方には文法を丁寧に教えたいと思っています。その上で、会話もたくさん練習していきます。

I have been having lessons with Yoko-san consistently once a week for almost two years now. I am very happy with how Yoko-san is supporting my learning journey. Her materials are great and neatly organised online so I can always retrieve past lessons. Even though I mostly book grammar-based classes, she always creates occasions for quite a bit of chatting. As a result I can now express myself more freely. Based on my experience, I recommend Yoko-san to anyone who wants to learn Japanese!

I have been studying Japanese with Yoko-san for a year anf a half now. I did both conversation and grammar classes. I started as a complete beginner and am now A2 level using Marugoto. I do not always have time to study as I work full time. Yet, I am now able to have conversations and express many things in Japanese! Every lesson with Yoko-san is a joyful and very rewarding experience. She is very committed to the success of her students and shares very useful materials immediately after class. I could not recommend Yoko-san strongly enough: she is a really great teacher!
