I just finished my first year of Italian and I can't give enough thanks to Aidien. Before I started taking lessons with him I didn't think I would ever understand the grammar. The new syntax, pronunciation, and grammar made me want to stop. I saw Aidien profile and took lesson with him. I admire his teaching style because he made difficult concepts easier for me to understand and his patience made me feel welcome. Since then I have been taking lessons with him three times a week. He has made learning Italian into a fun activity for me with his kind personality, patience for mistakes, and GREAT resources. I have been studying with Aidien for a couple months to prepare for the CELI 2 exam and the experience has been excellent! He is always friendly, encouraging, well-prepared, highly organized, knowledgeable, flexible, and fun to talk to. And if any question arises between classes he is super responsive. During the lesson he is especially good at balancing the benefit of organic conversation with the value of giving useful corrections. It always feels like just the right amount of helpful reminders and clarifications without breaking the flow or making me overly self-conscious. In just six weeks I can feel so much improvement and so much more self confidence. Highly recommended!
