Ai(あい)

I've had about 35 lessons with Ai this year, and they have paid off tremendously in terms of speaking confidence and overall comprehension. Ai is a very encouraging and friendly teacher, but what I like best about the lessons is the flexibility; we can work on reading, speaking, kanji, or anything else, and it's always useful and interesting. Thank you so much and see you next year!

Having had a couple of lessons with Ai sensei and many lessons with other teachers, I'm confident in saying that she is now my favourite teacher here on italki. We have great conversations (in Japanese only) every single lesson and I can feel I'm getting better and better at this language each time. I appreciate it a lot when she corrects me every time she notices I get something wrong. I love her lessons a lot!!! Thank you Ai sensei ありがとう😊

At the moment, we are working on translating some lyrics together. My choice was not the easiest, but Ai is of great assistance!

It is very fun to learn Japanese with Ai. I was able to practice a lot of Japanese with interesting and funny conversations. She speaks in a very understandable way and she writes all the new vocabulary/grammar/sentences in the chat and this is very helpful for me, because I can memorize this new vocabulary easily after the class. Ai is a fantastic teacher I can recommend with absolute confidence. Our lesson was fun, engaging, exciting, and Ai had some materials ready to make the session more productive. I enjoyed the class very very much. Thank you, Ai! またね！

Der Unterricht bei あいさん、macht immer super viel Spaß. Man kann über viele verschiedene Themen reden und あいさん hat immer super Ideen für den Unterricht. Besonders gut finde ich, dass man keine Angst haben muss Fehler zu machen, da あいさん immer sehr empathisch reagiert und man erst einmal die Zeit bekommt selbst zu überlegen wie es richtig heißen könnte, bevor sie Verbesserungsvorschläge gibt. Ich finde es super praktisch, mit あいさん auch Deutsch reden zu können. Besonders beim Erklären von grammatikalischen Konstrukten oder sprachlichen Nuancen hilft das doch sehr, dass あいさん hervorragend Deutsch spricht. Ich freue mich jedes Mal auf den Unterricht und kann jedem nur empfehlen es einmal auszuprobieren! Vielen Dank あいさん! いつもありがとうございました！
