Chiaki

I have studied Japanese with Chiaki-san for around 3 years now and it has always been very fun. The lessons have greatly improved my communication skills. Chiaki-san will always help when you do not understand a word or a sentence and it is very easy to talk to her. Very much recommended. Thanks for the lessons!

I have been with Chiaki for 3 years now! Chiaki is a great teacher who helps me a lot with my Japanese! She is very knowledgeable in teaching others and has many methods of teaching, from speaking to reading and so on. And she is so fun to learn from! I enjoy every listen with Chiaki and I hope to learn with her for a long time!

So much fun with Chiaki sensei!! We talked about travel, style, and culture. It’s really interesting to exchange cultures and learn new vocabulary at the same time

I appreciate how Chiaki sensei can be so approachable, she's a teacher you can talk to about anything, which is very helpful because you learn about many things that are generally not in textbooks.

I started lessons with Chiaki as a beginner. There are so many instructors to choose from, it was difficult to pick just one. I am so glad that I chose Chiaki! From the first lesson, she made sure to tailor each class to what my personal goals were, and encouraged me to learn!!!! It was the best decision made!!!! Since then, I've taken lessons each week - 15 months later, I'm learning complex sentences and having great discussions with her. She listens to me, and still tailors our lessons to what I might need - and I feel as though I've learned a ton. Plus, she's so nice, kind, and lovely. I LOVE HER!!!!!

Chiakisan has been such a joy to work with! Even when I forget words, she doesn't get mad, she just helps me remember again. One of the best teachers ever!
