Soohyun 수현

수현 has been my tutor now for about 3 months. I found her after my last tutor had to stop teaching and I was very worried about finding someone who would be as good as my first tutor. 수현 has been amazing at helping me speak more confidently and stay on target for my goals. I’m a very motivated self-learner, so traditional classroom instruction doesn’t suit me well. 수현 is very flexible at gearing our lessons for my specific (and sometimes complicated) needs. She is as skilled as she is fun to talk to, and she very much feels like a friend who is alongside me on my language learning journey in that difficult step from upper beginner to intermediate. At this point I can’t imagine having any other tutor but her, and I feel very lucky to be one of her students. You would be remiss to not choose her as your own tutor!

Soo's lessons are fantastic - she is very knowledgeable, kind, friendly, and explains incredibly well. I seriously have seen how much my Korean has advanced taking classes with her. Definitely recommend her!

Soohyun’s lessons are always interactive, fun, and incredibly effective. She prepares thoroughly and brings fresh ideas to every session, which keeps the learning enjoyable and engaging. She also pays close attention to pronunciation and corrects you clearly when needed. Since studying with her, I’ve made huge progress in a short time. Highly recommended.

Korean with Soo is honestly great. She is patient, creative, super smart, and I feel like she explains concepts very well. I've learned a ton with her. Highly recommend.
