Sa akong klase w/ Jem nga 45 mins, I covered the verbs, to go, to come and to head towards. Very useful language verbs to use everyday and something I wasn't aware of! Nindot nga tapik and will go ahead and study this as well. Jem is great in providing cultural context as well as testing me if I know certain vocabs. Salamat sa klase Jem! 🎉

Jem's lesson tries to get me to engage by correcting my grammar so that I can answer fluently with my 'yes' and 'no.' He also got me to speak about my work to try and guage my Cebuano. Very natural teacher.

In my 45 mins with Jem, he tested me on my translation skills using vocabulary we have learned to this point. We also learned about adding -a and -i to the end of verbs to show if it is a command or request. Jem's value is in his explanation and examples. I really learn a lot in his classes.
