Hello! I’m Ella from Ghana in West Africa. I live in Accra the capital city of Ghana. I’m a native speaker of Ewe, Akan twi , Chinese, and English. I love singing as well as dancing. Having learned Chinese as a second language to attain this level of proficiency, I understand the needs of my students as beginners, intermediate, and advance, and teach them according to their needs and levels. I have been teaching Chinese and Ewe for the past five years in person and online to both children and adults. I am patient and flexible so my students feel excited and comfortable during lessons. I enjoyed my lesson with Ella. She was friendly and encouraged me to confidently pronounce the words I was learning. She explained how words are used in everyday life, and shared some interesting history behind them. Whenever I had questions, she answered them well with examples. The slides she used were clear to review and follow and will also serve as a good study guide to practise after the lesson, so no need to worry about taking many notes during the lesson.
