Risa

Risa's lessons are engaging and fun! She asks questions to help me practice the Genki lessons and test my knowledge. She's also able to answer the questions I have about the different nuances in conversation. Learning Japanese is challenging! But she makes it enjoyable.

As always, it is lots of fun and educational every time. I started with very little Japanese knowledge to being able to have a conversation with Risa for one hour. Thanks to her help!

I have been taking lessons with Risa san for a year now and I feel like I have improved. Of course, I need to study on my own to remember things and reinforce the grammar concepts. Still, if I forgot things, Risa san will kindly help and take time to explain things in details. She seems to have a good understanding of my personal growth and can address issues specifically. Thanks Risa for a useful lesson again! The pacing is great and there is always opportunity to ask questions before moving on. It is useful to go through the Genki exercises and then use the learned grammar and vocab to create new sentences/conversations to solidify the learning!
