Ricardo

Ricardo is the absolute best Spanish teacher I have ever come across!! He is so friendly, patient, smart, funny, and he knows how to tailor lessons to the student perfectly so you always feel perfectly challenged (not too hard, not too easy -- just right!). I have always been embarrassed to speak Spanish, but Ricardo makes me feel so comfortable and I find classes are so engaging and fun. He taught my teenage daughter for one year. She became fully conversational with his help and she earned the highest score possible on her AP Spanish test (to earn college credit). She is very opinionated about teachers, but she always only had great things to say about Ricardo. She likes how he treated her with so much respect and kindness and always challenged her at the right level. Now my younger son (12 years old) and I are learning from him. My son always comes away bouncing from his lessons and says "That was so fun!" Ricardo is a treasure! We feel so lucky to have found him.

Richard is a very engaging teacher with a great sense of humor and a very positive disposition. He works very hard to teach you verbs and other basics of the language while you have full conversations. It all helps to build confidence.

Always a good time talking with Richard! He helped me with my reading and pronunciation today. Excited for another lesson with him!

As usual Richard's classes are super interactive and he's great at encouraging students to speak! He's fluent in English and French which has been very helpful when I can't find the right words in Spanish. I highly recommend classes with Richard if you would like to practice speaking :)
