He is very patient and knows exactly how to teach Tagalog. He explains clearly, listens well, and adapts to your goals. Great structure and very professional. Highly recommended.

Guro James is a great teacher and is often interested in asking his students about news from their region and sharing news from the Philippines as well. He prepares his lessons well if you have any outstanding questions he might not know, he will get back to you in the next lesson to answer particulars of Tagalog and also practise those examples. He is patient and will make the best use of time with however long your learning session is with him. I highly recommend him as an excellent Tagalog teacher and he's helped me immensely with improving my Tagalog. Maraming salamat po para sa mga session mo tsaka salamat sa pagtulong sa akin.

James is a very personable teacher! Even if you make mistakes, he's very patient. He uses multiple tools (flashcards, readings, videos, etc.) to help familiarize with the language, making lessons very engaging. Can't recommend him enough. Maraming salamat James!
