for nearly 3 years now I have been taking japanese lessons with miwa sensei whenever i have the time, and my japanese has improved immensely. when i first started, i could barely hold a conversation in japanese and my pronunciation was horrible. now, i am fluent in japanese and even get asked if im half japanese sometimes when I visit Japan. a large part of my japanese learning journey so far has been these lessons, and I really reccommend them to anyone looking to further their conversational japanese ability :)

My trial lesson with Miwa was great. She asked me about my Japanese goals (polishing spoken and written output) and explained how she could help me reach them. I already scheduled my next lesson, and I'm looking forward to learning more.

I used to think JLPT stood for "Japanese Learners Panicking Together." 😅 Then Miwa Sensei stepped in, and now there’s genuine hope for my dream of reading a newspaper in a Hokkaido onsen. She turns complex Kanji scenarios into effortless breadcrumb trails so I feel like I’m winning. 💪🏻 Between her clever diagrams and stuffed animals cheering me on, I think I'm really turning Japanese. 11/10 ヤバ！Absolute legend 👑
