⭐ Guénaëlle

Guénaëlle is a friendly, and very encouraging teacher who is helping me relearn a lot of grammar lessons that I had forgotten and she does it in a way that makes me feel like I'm moving ahead instead of just going over things I forgot. She's patient and, luckily, has a sense of humor. I'm glad I found her.

Guénaëlle est super! I've had several conversation exchanges with her and it has been most helpful. It is a bit intimidating to put sentences together in another language and trying to have a conversation. But Guénaëlle provides a supportive, safe environment so there's less stress about making mistakes. She is always polite and I appreciate her careful explanations when I have questions. I highly recommend Guénaëlle as a teacher/conversation partner.

I thoroughly enjoy my lessons with Guénaëlle. She's interesting to talk to and is both helpful and encouraging. She lets me do a lot of talking and stops herself immediately if I start to say something. She always makes sure I understand her corrections and our time together is something I look forward to. I highly recommend her.

Guénaëlle is good at so many things that make learning French enjoyable. Most important is making the student feel at ease. You can pause and think a while before speaking, you can ask things in English occasionally if you get stuck, and she offers plenty of suggestions to say things in everyday, modern French. Also, something I really value, is that she is skilled at tech, particularly Zoom and Google Docs, which she uses to notate her suggestions or to expand upon the topics that were discussed. With Google Docs, she takes notes for you so that you can concentrate on what you are saying. All this makes for an excellent experience each and every time we have a session.

Guénaëlle is so easy to talk to and I feel like she makes it fun to have a lesson with her. She's a good listener as well as a wonderful teacher who corrects mistakes without stopping the conversation. I highly recommend her.
