I think I’ve had about six classes with Thiago so far, and I’m more impressed each time. I was a teacher for 40 years, so I can be a little picky—but Thiago really stands out. He is an excellent teacher! Learning Portuguese vocabulary and grammar is hard enough, but actually speaking it is a whole different challenge. It’s extremely humbling especially when you are starting with the basics. Thiago is very patient and kind in how he teaches. He really cares about your progress and gives helpful, gentle corrections. He’s easy to talk to and always willing to adjust the class to fit what you need or want to focus on. He also gives a quick homework assignment to help reinforce the vocabulary and practice some listening and speaking . 100% recommend him.

Thiago exceeds expectations, he’s an excellent teacher who explains concepts clearly and provides thoughtful corrections. I highly recommend him!
