Hello! I'm Randal, a native English speaker from the USA and a TEFL-certified instructor currently based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have been helping people improve their English skills on iTalki since 2021. My approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each student, whether it's improving conversation fluency, mastering grammar rules, or expanding vocabulary.

I initially struggled with learning foreign languages because many teachers told me it wasn't my strength. I became preoccupied with grammatical rules and memorizing vocabulary out of context, which made me lose sight of the true purpose of learning a language: to communicate with others. However, when I shifted my focus to speaking more, learning words and rules in context, using real world examples and most importantly HAVING FUN, things changed and I began to improve. Since then, I have successfully helped many students with similar challenges. By sharing common interests, learning in context, and emphasizing conversation, I have witnessed them achieve their language goals.レッスン形式・教え方
My classes are very relaxed. I want students to feel comfortable and able to speak with ease, without worrying about every little detail or how they sound. I believe it's crucial to let go of that fear and just speak. Initially, I like to get to know my students and understand the areas they want to improve. I offer a range of options, from "free talk" to various structured topics and materials. Some of the resources I use include video shorts, news articles, games, short stories, and more. Most importantly, we talk, laugh, and have meaningful conversations that build your confidence and understanding of the English language.教材

Randal is very kind and friendly. He listens very attentively and carefully notes a number of observations that he shares at the end of class, very detailed and useful corrections of pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary. Even just a half-hour trial lesson was very helpful. Ha also precisely explained to me his approach and what we can do together. I immediately booked another lesson, looking forward to having another conversation with him!
